The incident occurred at around 8am this morning at the hotel situated on Notari Alemany in Calvià.

Initial reports from local media suggested the man may have been trying to balance on the rails of the hotel and possibly slipped.

He dropped more than 50ft to his death from the seventh floor during the early morning tragedy.

Emergency services including an ambulance, police and the Civil Guard rushed to the scene before the Brit was pronounced dead.

Doctors from a nearby medical centre also attended the incident but were unable to revive the man.

An autopsy is set to be carried out in the next few hours to officially determine the 34-year-old’s cause of death.

Cops in the Mallorca party hotspot are now investigating the incident.

They are reportedly interviewing the victim’s relatives and pals in a bid to piece together his movements before his fatal fall.
