Russia should wipe ‘boorish Britain’ off the map with nuke, state TV warns

RUSSIAN state TV has threatened to wipe “boorish Britain” off the map with Vladimir Putin’s 16,000mph Satan 2 nuke for supporting Ukraine.

The world-ending RS-28 Sarmat missile can fly more than 11,000 miles, carry 15 warheads and has the potential to obliterate an area the size of the UK in a single strike.

And in a chilling warning, pro-Putin TV anchor Vladimir Solovyov threatened to blow Britain to smithereens using the terrifying projectile.

“As it turned out, one Sarmat means minus one Great Britain,” he said.

The TV host said Britain had got “totally boorish”, referring to the UK’s continued support for Ukraine.

Russia has already threatened to strike military targets in the UK over its supply of weapons to Ukraine.

Western countries have been giving aid, weapons and equipment to the country – stopping short of sending troops or imposing a no-fly zone.

Britain has been supplying anti-tank weapons, anti-air missiles and plans to send Stormer armoured vehicles to help them fight against Russia.

Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said strikes could be authorised against Nato member states after Moscow accused forces of “pouring oil on the fire” by “pumping weapons” into the country.

Head of the Russian space agency Dmitry Rogozin, a close Putin ally, told state TV anchor Solovyov that Russia “will have 46 combat complexes of strategic weapon Sarmat”.

“Everything is according to plan with us,” he said.

Tyrant Putin hailed the development of the new missile – successfully test-fired earlier this month – as “a big, significant event” for Russia’s defence industry.

He boasted that the projectile will “force those who try to threaten Russia to think twice”.

The dictator said: “The missile can break through all modern anti-missile defences.

“There is nothing like this anywhere in the world, and won’t be for a long time.”

The missile is said to be the world’s longest-range intercontinental ballistic missile.

Russia successfully test-launched the missile last week with video showing the enormous 115-foot missile being launched from an underground silo, triggering an enormous fireball.

It travelled almost the entire length of Russia – almost 3,600 miles – in around 15 minutes as a watching Putin grinned with glee.

The missile then landed at Kura Missile Test Range on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the far east of the country, according to Russian defence sources.

The separate warheads in the Satan 2 missile are capable of detaching from the main 100-tonne missile before travelling towards their target at hypersonic speeds.

The bombs are 1,000 times more powerful than those dropped by the US on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan during World War Two.

It comes as Russia’s foreign minister warned a nuclear world war is now a “real” danger as British and Nato weapons are already “legitimate” targets in Ukraine.

Sergei Lavrov said the risk of World War 3 is now “considerable” – saying the West is essentially fighting a proxy war against Moscow via its support for Kyiv.

Lavrov accused Nato forces of “pouring oil on the fire” by “pumping weapons into Ukraine”.

In an interview with Russian news agencies, he said: “This is our key position on which we base everything.

“The risks now are considerable.

“I would not want to elevate those risks artificially. Many would like that. The danger is serious, real, And we must not underestimate it.”

Lavrov accused the West of deliberately attempting to “wear down the Russian army” and exhaust their ability to make war – something the minister bullishly said was an “illusion”.

But he claimed Russia wanted to prevent a nuclear war at all costs.

It comes as earlier today a Russian ammunition depot in the Belgorod region exploded in a suspected strike by Ukraine.

Two more attacks were also suspected with reports of explosions in the regions of the Voronezh and Kursk.

Ukraine has not confirmed the strikes – but video appears to show anti-air missile being fired in the area.
