According to her mother, she left the house at around 9pm carrying nothing but her mobile phone.

She said her daughter had planned to go travelling and had even packed a suitcase, but decided to leave it at home.

It was the last time she would see her daughter alive, and her horrifically wounded body was found dumped on a rural street three days after she left home.

Her hands were bound and her body was covered in gunshot wounds.

Brazil’s investigative police force the Civil Police said her body was spotted by a tractor driver who works at a nearby farm on a bend in the road.

It was already severely decomposed when it was spotted.

The tractor driver called the police, and the body was identified as that of Ellen after a forensic examination.

Her heartbroken father also confirmed the body was his daughter.

The crime has shocked the small town of Brasnorte, home to around 20,000 people, where police are investigating the crime.

Officers say the motive for the shocking murder is still unknown.

Ellen’s mother said her daughter had been planning to go travelling but gave up on the idea just before she went missing.

“She left the house, only with her cell phone, without taking anything else,” she said. “Nobody saw her anymore.”

Her mother said she had left her friend’s house at some point and her mobile phone was switched off.

So far, no suspects have been identified or arrested in the case.
