Atlantia makes binding offer for Siemens subsidiary Yunex Traffic – Siemens shares in red
The Italian infrastructure group Atlantia has submitted a binding offer to purchase the Siemens subsidiary Yunex Traffic.
Atlantia SpA announced that it had participated in a bidding process for the traffic management company in response to relevant press reports. However, the company did not provide financial details of its binding offer.
Atlantia announced that it would inform the market immediately if Siemens should accept its offer.
Almost seven months ago, Atlantia unveiled a plan to invest in highways, airports and mobile digital payments, as well as intelligent transportation systems in which Yunex Traffic operates.
Siemens shares currently lose 1.8 percent to 155.12 euros in XETRA trading.
