RAVENSBURG (dpa-AFX) – “Schwäbische Zeitung” on protests against Corona measures:
“Let’s put the number of participants in the protests against the corona measures in perspective. When tens of thousands of people against vaccinations demonstrated nationwide on Monday evening, almost 500,000 people had previously had an injection. The self-proclaimed walkers are a small but noisy minority. Nevertheless we have to deal with it. Because the Omikron mutant threatens more contagion. The German Association of Towns and Municipalities has called on the police and the judiciary to take action against violent vaccine opponents. This clear edge is a correct demand. So far, the violent people are still a smaller minority the protesting minority. But with roadblocks the others accept that ambulances cannot get through and that the use of their self-defined freedom massively affects the freedom of others. Arguments obviously do not count. / kkü / DP / he
