US bonds gain a little at the start of trading

NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – US Treasuries rose slightly in early trading on Tuesday. The futures contract for ten-year Treasuries (T-Note-Future) recently advanced by 0.11 percent to 130.70 points. The yield on ten-year government bonds fell to 1.46 percent.

Stock marketers pointed out that the US stock exchanges are unlikely to start trading after the most recent rally. The government bonds, which are considered safe, are accordingly in demand, it said.

Otherwise, the focus is on economic data from the real estate market. In October, for example, the rise in prices on the housing market unexpectedly accelerated again from a high level, according to the Federal Housing Finance Agency. According to the S & P / Case-Shiller index, however, the increase slowed somewhat in October. / La / jsl / he
