ANALYSIS FLASH: Warburg lowers target for Deutsche Wohnen to 51.25 euros – ‘Sell’

HAMBURG (dpa-AFX Broker) – The investment bank Warburg Research has lowered the price target for Deutsche Wohnen (Deutsche Wohnen SE) from EUR 53.80 to EUR 51.25 and left the rating on “Sell”. The new target price corresponds to the average weighted price (VWAP) over a period of six months, wrote analyst Simon Stippig in a study published on Friday. After the majority takeover of Deutsche Wohnen, Vonovia should initially have no incentive to go beyond a share of 90 percent as long as a real estate transfer tax would then have to be paid. However, should Vonovia want to buy out the remaining Deutsche Wohnen investors, the minimum payment would have to be the 6-month VWAP./mis/nas
