ESSEN (dpa-AFX) – The energy company RWE continues to recover from the weak start to the year. Before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) and adjusted for special effects, RWE generated a profit of almost 2.4 billion euros in the months from January to September, which is six percent than a year earlier. In the first six months, the operating result fell slightly. When the latest figures were presented in Essen on Thursday, the group also confirmed its forecast for the year.
