BERLIN (dpa-AFX) – The SPD wants to decide at an additional short party conference on the expected coalition agreement and thus on the traffic light coalition with the Greens and the FDP. According to a unanimous decision of the party executive committee, the party conference, which is partly planned online, will take place on Tuesday, December 4th, from 11 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., said a party spokeswoman in Berlin. The SPD, Greens and FDP are currently negotiating the coalition agreement. The special party conference is to take place shortly before the planned election of Olaf Scholz as Chancellor in St. Nicholas Week.
